Lyra Pramuk

Lyra Pramuk, an American multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin, has conceived a unique form of devotional music that harmonizes the open-ended potential of the human voice with the magic of technology as it rapidly evolves. Following the success of her last album Fountain, Pramuk’s expansive new release, Hymnal, is her own book of transformational worship songs, drawing from folk, house, techno, gospel and her formal classical education to construct a symphonic universe. A passionate live performer, Pramuk prefers staging her shows in churches, cathedrals and purpose-built theaters, embracing the space as an integral part of the experience, while using delay, feedback, reverb and pitch-shifting and pedals to alter her voice.
