Chicago Art Book Fair

Developed closely with artists, publications serve in equal measure as a record of exhibitions, and as a site for ideas, experiments, and scholarship in the orbit of newly made artworks.

We will participate in this year’s Chicago Art Book Fair, we will have a range of publications for purchase—most notably Hamza Walker: The Renaissance Society Years, which arrived in October. The book brings together essays written between 1984–2015 by our previous Director of Education, Hamza Walker, whose prolific writing practice pushed the boundaries of what museum education can do.
