The momentum that comes from curiosity is essential to why The Renaissance Society, nearly 100 years after its founding in 1915, continues to present artists working at the forefront of the visual arts.

 

Your curiosity as our audience fulfills an important aspect of our mission to advance understanding about art of the present moment. Your support financially has also become increasingly vital. Contributions at any level—from a $50 membership to a gift of $500 or more—ensure The Society’s ability to allow artists to develop their new and untested ideas.

 

As the 2011-2012 exhibition season gets underway, we ask you to show your support for the upcoming exhibitions this year, and for those to come in the future.

 

Contributions support exhibitions, new art commissions, concerts, lectures, and publications. They allow us to offer free admission to all of our programs, extending the impact of your contribution to a wide and diverse community. Donors receive recognition in our Annual Report and a 20% discount on all Renaissance Society books, excluding special editions.
